It’s ok to have bad days, you don’t have to be 100% happy, motivated and focused all the time.
Sometimes life gets super crazy busy and it is hard to fit everything in, in the one day and it’s funny how these times seem to happen in blocks. The struggle though is when your motivation has gone on a holiday and hasn’t returned leaving you feel lost, unmotivated and flat. Allow room to be human, life isn’t black and white remember, a rainbow of colours are out there as well and it’s ok to have a moment just don’t let that moment turn into an event. The number one thing you can do for yourself right now is to take some time out for YOU to feed your mind and nourish your soul.
Generally speaking when things get super busy and we tend to put ourselves last. Make sure the reason why you are so busy is because they are your priorities and not someone elses. Don’t forget you are a priority too. At the end of the day if you make yourself a priority the little things that pop up will seem like little hiccups that are easy to get over and back on track, not like the never ending mountains that you can’t seem to conquer. Remember this journey is a marathon not a sprint and it is going to be full of ups and downs you just have to keep moving forward.
So, what are you going to do to help kick start your motivation and achieve your health and fitness goals? It doesn’t have to be huge, it can be as small as 15 minutes to yourself for some deep breathing, reading your favourite fitness magazine, listening and dancing around the room to your favourite music. Trying a new exercise, going for a walk outdoors, the options are endless.
