I have these wonderful ideas and beliefs in my mind on how I would love to be, the experiences I would love to have and how I would live my life but if I look at my actions they contradict these thoughts at times.
Are you saying one thing but doing or thinking the exact opposite? Does your actions and thoughts contradict your beliefs? Have you ever said yes but wanted to say no?
Sit down and write down some quotes, words or beliefs that you would love to think represents you and how you want to live your life or how you are living your life. Now go through that list and think about all the things you do on a regular basis and the thoughts that go through your mind. Are the things you do and think align with your list of quotes and beliefs?
Here is a couple of mine:
My goal is to be braver and challenge myself each day to get out of my comfort zone.
My goal is to stop hesitating or wondering what others will think of me
My goal is to follow through and become a person I can rely on
My goal is to work with my strengthens and weaknesses and stop trying to change and resist them
